Sky Kingdom brings hundreds of drones to Trent Bridge on Saturday 5 December, doors 5pm, show 6.30pm, 40 minutes. Adult tickets are now £17 plus a booking fee.

Sky Kingdom, a dragon drone light show, comes to Trent Bridge on Saturday 5 December 2026. It is confirmed, it is on sale, and unlike the ground’s fireworks nights it has an announced date.

Nottingham gets a single night. On the tour listing, Birmingham’s Edgbaston Stadium has two dates (6 and 7 November) and Brighton’s County Ground has two (11 and 12 December). Trent Bridge has one. If 5 December sells out there is no second night to fall back on.

The early-bird window has closed. Trent Bridge’s own event page still leads with “Buy Super Early Bird tickets to secure maximum savings before they sell out”, and Visit Nottinghamshire’s listing still advertises “Super Early Bird Tickets from £7”. The checkout no longer offers that price. What you will actually pay for an adult today is £18.70 all in. Take the £7 figure as history, not as an offer.

Under-3s go free but still need a ticket in the basket, which is the sort of thing that stops a family at the gate if nobody read it.

Who makes it

The show is created by Celestial, the drone artists who reached the final of Britain’s Got Talent in 2026, and produced by the experience company Yuup. The pair launched the UK’s first ticketed touring drone light shows in 2023 and say they have had more than 200,000 visitors across the country since.

This is not their first visit to West Bridgford. Trent Bridge has hosted three of their shows already, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, WILD and Evolution, and Joe Sharphouse, the club’s Head of Commercial Sales, calls them “a firm fixture in our winter events calendar”. An earlier drone show at the ground, in December 2024, retold A Christmas Carol with 600 drones over 45 minutes, narrated by Matt Lucas, across two nights.

Dominic Mills, who founded Yuup, put the 2026 show this way: “With Sky Kingdom, we’re bringing that sense of wonder into the real world, using hundreds of drones to create dragons and magical worlds on a scale that has to be seen to be believed.”

No bangs, which is the point

The club is explicit that the show “contains no loud bangs, making it a quieter experience for audiences while reducing disruption to pets and wildlife”.

That fits how this borough now does things. Rushcliffe Borough Council has run a low-noise fireworks policy since 2021 and asks external event operators to follow it. If loud fireworks are the reason your household skips bonfire night, this is the December alternative, and it is the only large evening spectacle at the ground with a confirmed 2026 date.

Before the show

There are pre-show festivities on the Trent Bridge concourses, with food, drinks and family entertainment, before the drones fly after dark. Doors at 5pm give you an hour and a half of it.

Two caveats. Trent Bridge’s Event Guide and Food & Drink pages for this show both say “Coming soon” as of 3 September, so the trader list, the bar arrangements and the stand you will be watching from have not been published. Expect that detail in November, and expect it on the club’s own event page rather than on the ticket seller’s.

Dress for a cricket ground in December. The drones fly outdoors and you will be standing or sitting still for 40 minutes of it.

Getting there

Trent Bridge sits at the West Bridgford end of the A60 crossing, a few minutes’ walk from Central Avenue. Walking or the tram beats driving on an event night.
