We checked 5 places to buy a real Christmas tree near West Bridgford, from a Wilford pop-up to Notcutts, for 2026 prices and delivery. Updated November 2026.

Five places sell real Christmas trees to West Bridgford in 2026, and this guide puts them in one place with prices, opening dates and delivery. Most people land on The Christmas Tree Company, which runs a pop-up yard in Wilford, just over a mile from the town centre, and its main yard in Beeston; Notcutts Wheatcroft, the garden centre on Landmere Lane in Edwalton; and Jacksons Nurseries for delivery. Every entry was checked against the seller’s own website on 5 November 2026.

We have not bought a tree from any of these for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry says what the seller says it does, with its own prices where it publishes them. There is no Christmas tree farm in West Bridgford itself that publishes a 2026 season, so two of the five are national delivery firms that cover NG2. Check dates before you drive over.

Yards and garden centres

1. The Christmas Tree Company, Wilford and Beeston

The Christmas Tree Company sells real trees from three sites this season: its yard at The Poplars, Beeston, off Wollaton Road and about 3.5 miles west of West Bridgford; a pop-up in Wilford, the closest to the town; and a pop-up at Trinity Farm. It sells cut Nordmann and Fraser firs and Norway spruce, plus pot-grown Nordmann and Norway spruce, and says it uses compostable netting.

Staff carry your tree to the car. The firm’s 2026 pages say only “Wilford” for the pop-up; its home page, still worded for last season, names the Harvester at Wilford, on Clifton Lane.

Its two pages also disagree on the opening day there: the FAQ gives Thursday 26 November and the location page “Thursday 27th November”. The 26th is the Thursday.

Delivery runs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 24 November to 19 December, within 10 miles of the Beeston yard (15 miles by arrangement), which takes in West Bridgford and the nearer Rushcliffe villages. The cost is worked out from the tree’s height and weight at checkout, and an installation option is offered for customers who cannot manage the tree themselves.

Open Beeston from Wed 25 November: weekdays 2pm to 6pm; Sat 9am to 6pm; Sun 10am to 4pm. Wilford pop-up from Thu 26 November: Thu and Fri 1.30pm to 6pm; Sat 9am to 5pm; Sun 10am to 4pm

2. Notcutts Wheatcroft, Edwalton

Notcutts Wheatcroft, on Landmere Lane at Edwalton, is part of the Notcutts garden centre chain, about two miles south-east of the town centre. The chain’s real tree page says cut trees and container-grown trees are “coming soon to our garden centres”, that Nordmann fir is sold cut or pot grown, and that Fraser fir and pot-grown Norway spruce are “available in selected stores”.

It does not say which trees Wheatcroft will stock, or give prices. The centre’s Christmas range, restaurant and opening hours are in our Christmas shopping guide.

How we chose

We looked for farms, yards, garden centres and delivery services covering West Bridgford and the Rushcliffe villages, and kept only those whose own websites give their dates, hours or prices for this season, or, for Notcutts, whose chain says real trees are coming to its centres. We left out Harker’s Farm Shop at Clipston, whose Christmas page is about meat and pies, not trees; Bardills at Stapleford, whose site has no tree page; Woodthorpe Park Plant Shop, whose council tree sale we could not find for 2026; and two names, Costock Christmas Trees and Newton Christmas Trees, that we could not trace to a website. If any of them confirm a 2026 tree sale, we will add them.
