The Rancliffe Arms at Bunny says its restaurant is full but is selling its four-course Christmas Day carvery as a takeaway, and the Durham Ox at Orston (£175) is sold out. The Larwood and Voce in West Bridgford is closed on Christmas Day, though it serves a £34.95 festive menu through December and reopens on Boxing Day. The Tap and Run at Upper Broughton and the Bulls Head at East Leake are also closed on the day. The Plough at Normanton on the Wolds is open for drinks only, and the Stratford Haven opens from midday to 3pm with no Christmas Day menu listed. We found no 2026 Christmas Day details on the websites of Langar Hall, the Martin’s Arms at Colston Bassett, the Griffin at Plumtree or Escabeche.
